Roadman Campers are a lightweight
(225lbs) motorcycle camper
designed to be pulled easily and safely behind almost any size
cycle or small
car. We pull ours easily with a 650 air cooled Yamaha V-Star,
with 2 up and with the bike and camper fully loaded. The 38
inch wide trailer body matches standard width of
most handlebars. This allows the trailer to draft safely behind
the cycle and to trail the same width as the cycle.
With the tent & pole bags placed in the camper there is 15 cubic
feet of storage space. There is an additional carrying
space on the luggage rack for all your camping gear and other
necessities. Our motorcycle camper is unlike others on the
market, yet it still sets up quickly and keeps you off the
ground and out of the mud. When you open the
trailer cover it does not fold out or pop up into an instant
camper. This is for 3 reasons, 1; due to the mechanics and tent
of an instant camper there is lost storage space inside and on
top of the trailer. 2; there is added weight from the extra
mechanics. 3; our campers are designed to be used as a camper
and a trailer.
To use it as a camper you simply flip open the trailer cover,
fold down the attached leg and attach the additional leg to the
trailer luggage rack. Take the tent and the poles out of the
storage bags and set the camping poles in the holders. Slip the
tent over the tent poles then Velcro onto main body and S hooks
to the lid. Set up time is approximately 7 minutes for one
person. To
use as a motorcycle trailer simply lift out the 2 wood sections
and set them aside, there are no bolts or clamps to remove. The
tent and poles are in storage bags for easy removal and storage.
The tent has a door with a adjustable zippered window
plus the tent has three spacious windows with fully adjustable
zippered closures. All windows and the door have heavy duty
zippers and all tent seams are double stitched. The tent is made
of a high quality breathable, waterproof, fire retardant, heavy
duty tent
canvas. There are two inside pockets for glasses, wallet or small personal items.The tent poles are made of steel,
the awning has adjustable poles, the stakes and ropes are
included.
The 50" wide by 42" deep dressing room
has a waterproof floor and provides privacy
to dress and undress while standing. Also you will be able to sit by a small
camping table to eat, drink or play games. The 50" wide by 76" long sleeping area (bed) sleeps 2 and is the perfect size for
2 self inflatable roll up mattresses, 2 single air mattresses
